PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an object detection device for selecting a preferential sensor in accordance with a scene concerning the object detection device for detecting targets with the use of multiple sensors.SOLUTION: An object detection device includes: a first sensor 21 for detecting first target information including a first distance to a target and a first lateral position of a target; a second sensor 23 for detecting second target information including a second distance to a target and a second lateral position of a target; own vehicle information acquisition means for acquiring own vehicle information; data selection means 33 for selecting a shorter distance between a first distance and a second distance as a distance to a target when a scene specifying condition is satisfied with respect to the same target, where a second lateral position at the same level as a first lateral position has been detected for a prescribed time or more, a first distance or a second distance is equal to or less than a threshold, and also an own vehicle is traveling in a straight line; and driving support means 15 for performing a driving support when it is determined that a vehicle is to collide with a target on the basis of a distance selected by the data selection means. |
