A device for fastening a fan cowl (12) to the waterbox (13, 14) of an air/water radiator (15) for motor vehicles possesses a clip arrangement arranged on one side of the fan cowl (12) and waterbox (13, 14) and consisting of a pair of elastic elements (42, 43) on the fan cowl (12) or on the waterbox (13, 14) and of a pair of webs (41) which are arranged on the waterbox (13, 14) or on the cowl (12) and behind which the elastic elements (42, 43) engage in a locking manner. So that, in such a device, an additional fastening possibility is afforded in the event of the failure of one of the other fastening elements and, furthermore, securing in relation to a relative movement between the fan cowl (12) and waterbox (13, 14) is improved, there are provided between the elastic elements (42, 43) and the webs (41) of the clip arrangement, on the fan cowl (12), a passage bore (57) and, on the waterbox (14), a projecting fastening pin (56) which passes through the passage bore (57) without appreciable play, and there is provided, on the side of the fan cowl (12) and radiator (15) located opposite the clip arrangement, a plug arrangement (11/1) consisting of at least one receptacle (36) on the waterbox (13) or on the fan cowl (12) and of at least one finger (37), pluggable into the receptacle (36), on the fan cowl (12) or on the waterbox (13). <IMAGE>
