PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the lives of a slide seal and members constituting a sliding surface by making slide friction resistance between a slid surface and a sliding surface of the slide seal into zero or magnitude approximate to zero.SOLUTION: In the slide seal, a first member is freely rotated with respect to a second member and mounted to a mounting recess of the second member. The slide seal is annular and a cross section passing a centerline of the slide seal is formed rectangular. In the state where the slide seal is not mounted in the mounting recess, an outer diameter D1 of a fixed circumferential surface in press-contact with a bottom face of the mounting recess of the slide seal is formed larger than an inner diameter D2 of the bottom face of the mounting recess, and an inner diameter N1 of a slid surface at a side, toward the sliding surface, of the first member of the slide seal is formed larger than an outer diameter N2 of the sliding surface. When the slide seal is mounted in the mounting recess, the slide seal is elastically deformed in the direction where the diameter is reduced, and the inner diameter N1 of the slid surface of the slide seal becomes a dimension matched with the outer diameter N2 of the sliding surface or approximate thereto. |
