PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamable oil-in-water emulsion composition which is added with polyglyceryl fatty acid esters so as to achieve high emulsion stability, a proper overrun and a wide whip end width during foaming, and excellent shape retention property.SOLUTION: A foamable oil-in-water type emulsion composition includes a polyglyceryl fatty acid ester obtained by the reaction of a polyglycerol having a total concentration of triglycerol and tetraglycerol of 60 wt.% or more with a saturated aliphatic acid or an unsaturated aliphatic acid having 16 to 22 carbons.
