PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power supply capable of effectively utilizing an operation function in a self-sustained operation state while allowing power supply means to be securely inspected.SOLUTION: A power supply device 10 including power supply means 11 operable by being switched between a linkage operation state and a self-sustained operation, includes: index value management means 14 for managing the magnitude of a cumulative operation index value cumulated accompanied with an operation of the power supply means 11; determination means for determining whether or not the magnitude of the cumulative operation index value managed by the index value management means 14 reaches an enforcement reference value of shutdown necessary for inspection of the power supply means 11; and enforcement shutdown management means 16 for, when the determination means 15 determines that the enforcement reference value of the shutdown is reached, performing the enforcement shutdown of the power supply means 11 when the power supply means 11 is in the linkage operation state, and not performing the enforcement shutdown of the power supply means 11 when the power supply means 11 is in the self-sustained operation. |
