PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element mount and an optical wiring module, which facilitate replacement of an optical element.SOLUTION: An optical element mount has a through-hole connecting upper and lower faces thereof and comprises a substrate 4 having a mounting region, which is a region on the lower face that includes the through-hole, for mounting an optical element 7; an optical wave guide 5 which is located on the upper face and has an optical path conversion section for converting an optical path at a location overlapping the through hole; wiring which is formed on the lower face and part of which is located in the mounting region; the optical element 7 which is mounted in the mounting area 4R such that a light receiving/emitting surface (a light receiving surface or light emitting surface) overlaps the through-hole, electrically connected with the wiring, and optically connected with the optical waveguide 5 via the through-hole and the optical path conversion section; and electrode terminals 8 which are located on and electrically connected to the wiring and portion of which are positioned lower than the optical element 7. |
