BASE BODY USED FOR SINTERING GRAPHITE MATERIAL, SINTERING CONTAINER AND SINTERING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base body preventing an oxidizing gas from entering into the inside even in deformation, a sintering container and a manufacturing method capable of preventing oxidation of a sintered product using the sintering container.SOLUTION: The base body has an upward opening and a groove supporting the lid along the outer periphery or the inner periphery of the opening, and is used for putting a lid on the opening and sintering a graphite material. The sintering container consists of the base body and the lid having a frame part fitted into the groove. A method for manufacturing the graphite material comprises: placing a compact of the graphite material into the base body; closing the lid so as to sink the frame part into the groove of the base body; charging the groove with a powdery or granular filler; and sintering the compact.
