PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen device that can be inexpensively manufactured and can be improved in flatness even when a screen body is unfolded halfway and used, by applying a lateral tensile force on both sides of the screen body.SOLUTION: The screen device is provided with: a cord member 21, as side tension means 20, which vertically extends on a side of a screen body 2 and has one end connected to winding means 3 that can wind the cord member; a connecting member 22 to connect the cord member 21 to a side of the screen body 2 in such a way that a middle part in a vertical direction of the cord member 21 is curved toward a center part of the screen body 2; and loosening absorbing means 23 that elastically absorbs loosening of the cord member 21 between the winding means 3 and a holding rod 5. A tensile force is applied to the cord member 21 between the winding means 3 and the holding rod 5 to pull the side of the screen body 2 in a lateral direction via the cord member 21 and the connecting member 22. |
