PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of easily producing clear sterilized water from polluted water.SOLUTION: A polluted water purifying package having a sterilizing function, which is made up of a multi-chamber bag having two or more chambers formed by providing partitions inside a water-soluble or water-disintegrable sheet bag, coagulant filled in a first chamber of the bag, and germicide filled in a second chamber of the bag, is put into polluted water, and the water is stirred and then left to stand to thereby separate into sediment and supernatant water. The separated supernatant water becomes clear and sterilized drinking water. Furthermore, one or more selected from among adsorbent, decoloring agent, antimicrobial agent, minerals or vitamins may be filled in remaining third and further chambers. For example, a package in which 1 pt.wt. of coagulant having a composition containing volcanic ejecta is provided in the first chamber and 0.1 to 0.5 pt.wt. of germicide composed of hypochlorite is filled in the second chamber is provided. |
