PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling block capable of exerting a cooling capacity sufficient for high-capacity heat generation without enlarging a cooling mechanism, and an endoscope apparatus using the same.SOLUTION: The cooling block having a hollow area to be a flow passage for passing a cooling medium, includes: a lowermost-layer face plate constituting a bottom face of the cooling block; an uppermost-layer face plate constituting an upper face of the cooling block; and an intermediate layer having an area corresponding to the hollow area as a notch part and having a plurality of flow passage-layer face plates constituting a columnar part and a peripheral part. The intermediate layer has a flow passage area enlargement layer. The plurality of flow passage-layer face plates are superposed between the lowermost face plate and the uppermost face plate, and the respective faces are joined together. |
