This bulb-shaped lamp (1) is provided with: an LED module (20); a globe (10) that covers the LED module (20); a drive circuit (70) for having the LED module (20) emit light; a surrounding member (a metal member (60)) that is arranged so as to surround the drive circuit (70); a case (50) that is arranged so as to surround the surrounding member and forms at least a part of an envelope; and a coating film (61) that is formed on the case-side surface of the surrounding member or the surrounding member-side surface of the case. The thermal expansion coefficients of the surrounding member and the case are different from each other, and the coating film (61) has a plurality of flexible projections the front end portions of which are in contact with the case-side surface of the surrounding member or the surrounding member-side surface of the case, on which the coating film (61) is not formed, when the bulb-shaped lamp (1) is lighted.
