The present invention addresses the problem of providing a migration system and a migration method by which the completion timing of a live migration of a virtual machine can be adjusted. This migration system (1) comprises: a transfer means (61A) that transmits memory data of the virtual machine from a transfer source physical host (31) to a transfer destination physical host (32), and synchronises the data of the virtual machine in the transfer source physical host (31) and the virtual machine in the transfer destination physical host (32); a determination means (51A) that, for each virtual machine, determines the synchronisation of the data of the virtual machine (81A) in the transfer source physical host (31), and the virtual machine (81B); and a control means (10) that, on the basis of the determination result, if the data of all the virtual machines is synchronised, switches the virtual machine from the transfer source physical host (31) to the transfer destination physical host (32). The transfer means (61A) continues the memory data transmission until there is a switching instruction. |
