The sock (1) has a textile surface material provided with an inner side and an outer side. A coating (4) made of an adhesive material (5) is applied on the outer side of the surface material and connected with the surface material, where a thickness of the coating amounts to 0.5-3.0 mm. The surface material is designed as a compressive working surface material e.g. knitted fabric and stitch bonded fabric. The coating is applied over an entire surface of the surface material in a form of a pattern that comprises patches. The coating is made of silicone, plastisol or thermoplastic elastomer. An independent claim is also included for a combination comprising a sock.
