The hose line (1) has a single or multi- layered hose wall (10) that is comprised of a heating element (2) on the outer surface (14). The heating element is embedded over a peripheral portion (20) of the hose wall. The heating element provided in an outer cover layer (13) of the single or multi-layered hose wall is sunk and/or melted and/or pressed. The outer cover layers are made of a heat fusible and/or curable and/or softenable material including a plastic, a thermoplastic elastomer or a peroxide cross-linked ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a hose line.
