PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of switching a luminescent color without using a motor.SOLUTION: A light source device (100) comprises: a semiconductor laser (10) which emits first visible light; a first polarization control element (20) which controls polarization of the first visible light; a first light branching element (30) which branches an S polarization component and a P polarization component of the first visible light emitted from the first polarization control element; a first wavelength conversion member (40) which converts one of the S polarization component and P polarization component branched by the first light branching element into a second visible light having a different wavelength from that of the first visible light and emits the second visible light; and a drive device (50) which drives the first polarization control element to change polarization of the first visible light incident on the first light branching element. |
