PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case assembly device capable of simply, efficiently, and safely assembling an octagonal cylindrical case having an octagonal body portion.SOLUTION: A panel pressing device 21 presses outward a pair of opposite body panels Pand P, and a panel position regulating device stops the pair of the body panels to mold an octagonal cylindrical case K. A case molding device is moved toward a guide plate 15, and an outer flap Fof the octagonal cylindrical case moved with the case molding device is made to abut on the guide plate 15 and folded inward. A flap pressing device 23 is actuated while the outer flap is superimposed with an inner flap F, and the inner and outer flaps superimposed with each other are clipped by a clipping plate 23b of the flat pressing device and the guide plate. The inner and outer flaps are joined by an adhesive applied in advance on a surface of the inner flap, thereby holding the octagonal cylindrical case in a molding state. |
