PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an action response toy outputting a performance in response to not only action making two toy bodies approach, but also action making the two toy bodies separate after that.SOLUTION: An action response toy 10 comprises a buckle 20 and rings 40A and 40B. The buckle 20 and the rings 40A and 40B can be respectively equipped to a body of a user 11 and can be approached or separated with each other depending on the action of the equipped user. A main control unit in the buckle 20 controls a main output unit in the buckle 20 to output a first performance while determining that the ring 40A or the ring 40B is in a condition of approached, and controls the main output unit in the buckle 20 to output a second performance while determining that the ring 40A or the ring 40B is in a condition that is separated in the outputting of the first performance.
