PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a bicycle component which has a body with seats receiving metal inserts and can avoid detachment between the body and the metal inserts; and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: A pedal crank (1) for a bicycle comprising structural fibers incorporated in a matrix of polymeric material has two seats (4, 7) in which two metal inserts (5, 8) are received. The seats (4, 7) each have a mouth (4a, 7b) which opens on outer surfaces (2a; 2b) of the pedal crank and have a geometry to allow insertion of the metal inserts (5, 8) from the outside of the pedal crank (1). |
