PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting apparatus which sufficiently cools a superconducting coil and concurrently inhibits the size increase.SOLUTION: The superconducting apparatus includes: a superconducting coil 21; an inner tank 41; and a heat exchanger 3. The inner tank 41 holds liquid nitrogen R for cooling the superconducting coil 21 and the superconducting coil 21 therein. The heat exchanger 3 is used for cooling the liquid nitrogen R. The inner tank 41 includes a lower part 41A holding the superconducting coil 21 and an upper part 41B in which the heat exchanger 3 is disposed. The superconducting apparatus further includes a pump 4. The pump 4 is disposed in the upper part 41B and circulates the liquid nitrogen R cooled by the heat exchanger 3 between the upper part 41B and the lower part 41A. |
