PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling alignment of fibers during an injection molding process.SOLUTION: A method of controlling alignment of reinforcing fibers in an injection molded polymer product including the step of: applying an electric field to at least one area of a mold apparatus; and, thereafter, injecting a fluidized polymer containing substantially unaligned reinforcing fibers into the mold apparatus while maintaining the applied electric field. |
