PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sash capable of improving water tightness and drainage without increasing the height of a sill.SOLUTION: A sash comprises a sill 1 and drainage members 3, 4 arranged at corner parts between the sill 1 and vertical frames 2a, 2b. The sill 1 has grooves 5, 6 provided in its top face in the longitudinal direction and hollow parts 29, 59, 38b; air-tight lines 72a, 72b are formed between the sill 1 and closed sliding screens 12a, 12b; drainage holes 58a, 58b for guiding water to the hollow parts are provided in an indoor region; the internal pressure of the hollow parts 29, 59, 38b is equivalent to that of the indoor over a full length of the sill; the drainage members 3, 4 have drain channels 7, 8 communicating with an outdoor side from the grooves 5, 6 of the sill; and rainwater entering the grooves 5, 6 in an outdoor region is drained from the drain channels 7, 8 of the drainage members 3, 4. |
