PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger capable of preventing failure in charging to a mounted battery pack, and a control method of the charger.SOLUTION: When a charger charges an instrument for charging, upon detecting that an instrument for charging is additionally mounted on a charging stand, the charger moves a power transmission coil at a charging position of the instrument for charging being charged to a mounting position where the instrument for charging is additionally mounted, determines whether or not the instrument for charging additionally mounted is mounted in the state where charging can be properly performed, and if determining that it is not mounted in the state where charging can be properly performed, notifies a user of the effect. |
