PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable clothing article capable of temporarily suppressing stretch and contraction of elastic regions formed on side panels of a disposable clothing article.SOLUTION: A disposable clothing article 1 includes a pair of side panels 31a and 31b. The side panels 31a and 31b are formed with elastic regions 33a and 33b that can elastically repeat stretch and contraction in a lateral direction B. The side panels 31a and 31b have fasteners 41a and 41b for connecting a front waist region 7 and a rear waist region 8, and hook members 45 attached to the fasteners 41a and 41b are releasably locked to the elastic regions 33a and 33b.
