PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable clothing article formed with gathers that are neatly aligned on nonwoven fabrics in inner face sides in elastic regions formed on side panels.SOLUTION: A disposable clothing article 1 includes a pair of side panels 31a and 31b. The side panels 31a and 31b are formed with elastic regions 33a and 33b that can elastically repeat stretch and contraction in a lateral direction B. The inner face side and outer face side of the side panels 31a and 31b are formed of nonwoven fabrics 35 and 36. A hot-melt adhesive 38 is applied to the inner face-side nonwoven fabric 34 at the width of 1-5 mm so as to form a plurality of belt-like coating parts 53 extending in the longitudinal direction A. The belt-like coating parts 53 are aligned in the lateral direction B at intervals 1-5 mm apart from each other so as to form a coating region 52 of the hot-melt adhesive 38. A plurality of streaks of elastic members 37 extending in the lateral direction B in a stretched state are joined with the coating region 52 to form elastic regions 33a and 33b.
