PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-discolored toy changing to variable modes by water application, and a water-discolored toy set made of a discoloring tool for discoloring the water-discolored toy and having high amusement characteristics with unexpectedness and variability given to a mode change of the water-discolored toy through application of the discoloring tool.SOLUTION: A water-discolored toy set 1 includes a water-discolored toy 2 and a discoloring tool 5 for accommodating and discoloring the water-discolored toy. The water-discolored toy is provided in such that a porous layer 4 with a low refractive index pigment firmly attached to binder resin in a dispersed manner and with different transparencies set for a liquid absorption state and a liquid non-absorption state is arranged on the surface of a support body 3 in a position to face the support body. The discoloring tool is configured by firmly attaching an impregnation body 7 impregnated with water to a pair of base materials 6 and when the base materials are made to approach or brought into contact with each other by accommodating the water-discolored tool, the impregnation body holds the water-discolored toy and comes into contact with the porous layer disposed in a facing position. |
