PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleanser composition for an endoscope-cleansing machine, showing little foaming even at low temperatures and having excellent detergency and storage stability as well as a method of cleansing an endoscope by an endoscope-cleansing machine using the cleanser composition.SOLUTION: There are provided [1] a cleanser composition for an endoscope-cleansing machine including (A) a nonionic surface active agent represented by formula (1), (B) a C6-10 aliphatic acid having branched chains or salts thereof, (C) an antifoaming agent and water, as well as [2] a method of cleansing an endoscope by an endoscope-cleansing machine using a mixture of the cleanser composition and a protease. R-O-[(EO)/(PO)]-H (1) where R represents a C7-9 branched alkyl group, EO represents an ethanediyloxy group, PO represents a propanediyloxy group, m and n are the average addition mole numbers, and m is 1 or more and 30 or less and n is 2 or more and 50 or less. "/" means that EO and PO may be random or block and the addition order of PO and EO is not determined. |
