PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate inconsistency in a signal form.SOLUTION: An information processing device includes a reception processing unit and a control unit. The reception processing unit performs reception processing on an input signal to generate an information signal and changes the signal form of the currently output information signal to another signal form on the basis of a change instruction before being output to an externally attached unit. The control unit, if signal processing is not normally executed and occurrence of a signal processing error is recognized, sends a change instruction to the externally attached unit which is inserted from the outside and which receives the information signal output from the reception processing unit and performs signal processing on information signals having a signal form processible by itself.
