PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion system capable of suppressing an adverse effect of deterioration in motor insulation by suppressing a multistage change of output voltages with a space-saving, low cost and simple configuration.SOLUTION: The power conversion system, including: a power converter with a plurality of single-phase power converters for converting a DC voltage into an optional frequency; a controller that compares a phase voltage command value with a carrier wave for the power converter and develops a pulse width modulation voltage to be applied to an AC motor, changes a frequency of a carrier wave according to an absolute value |dV/dt| of a rate of change of a phase voltage command value, or an absolute value |Vs| of a rate of change in an operation period of the controller. |
