REFRIGERATOR AND HEAT EXCHANGER FOR THE SAME

Disclosed is a refrigerator having a freezer compartment and a refrigerator compartment which independently cools the freezer compartment and the refrigerator compartment by circulating two independent cooling cycles with two compressors. The refrigerator includes the two compressors, two condensers, two expanding valves, and two evaporators. One of the two condensers is arranged inside a machine room, and the other condenser is arranged outside of the machine room. The two condensers improve a heat radiating effect of the machine room and the easiness of arrangement. Furthermore, the refrigerator includes the two compressors, a dual-pass condenser, the two expanding valves, and the two evaporators. The dual-pass condenser may have two independent condensing paths.
