PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for a toilet bowl which enables a smooth transfer from a wheelchair.SOLUTION: The handrail for a toilet bowl includes: a body part 10 provided with a base member 11 extending in a fore and aft direction and installed behind the front end of a floor-fixed part a of a toilet bowl A fixed on the floor of a toilet room and on both sides of the floor-fixed part a, erecting members 12 anchored to the base member 11, support members 15 each anchored to the upper end of each erecting member 12 and extending in a fore and aft direction, and a connection member 16 which connects the erecting members 12 to each other; a fixing part 20 which fixes the body part 10 to the toilet bowl A; a movable part 30 attached to the body part 10 so as to be movable in a fore and aft direction; a handrail member 40 attached to the movable part 30; and locking means 50 which holds the handrail member 40 at a predetermined position. The movable part 30 includes: a movable base member 31 and an upper movable member 32 which are inserted into the base member 11 and the support member 15 and move backward and forward; and a connection member 33 which connects the movable base member 31 and the upper movable member 32 at the respective rear ends. |
