PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator device capable of stabilizing a rotation angle of a shaft when an accelerator is fully closed.SOLUTION: A fully closed stopper part 36 is formed at an operation member 30 fixed on an outer wall of a shaft 20. At the fully closed stopper part 36, a contactable surface 360 abutting with an inner wall 151 of a back face part 15 is formed when the accelerator is fully closed. The contactable surface 360 is formed in such a manner that an intersection line of a surface perpendicular to a rotation axis &phgr;1 of the shaft 20 and the contactable surface 360 becomes a circular arc. In an accelerator device 1 before use, a first contact point 361 on the contactable surface 360 abuts with the inner wall 151. When the rotation axis of the shaft 20 moves from the pre-use position by the use of the accelerator device 1, a second contact point 362 in the vicinity of the first contact point 361 abuts with the inner wall 151. The distance between the second contact point 362 and a point on the rotation axis &phgr;1 is almost the same as the distance between the first contact point 361 and the point on the rotation axis &phgr;1, and the rotation angle of the shaft 20 when the accelerator is fully closed can be stabilized. |
