PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging machine capable of forming a good-looking fold on a side surface of a gusset bag even when the bag is formed by a rotary motion type packaging machine.SOLUTION: In a rotary motion type packaging machine for forming a gusset bag, there are provided folding plates 8 for simultaneously approaching the respective side faces of an upstream gusset bag and a downstream gusset bag, with respect to a pair of seal jaws 5, 5, and forming folds. On both sides of a seal part S where the pair of seal jaws 5, 5 mesh with each other, there are provided notch parts G for allowing approach of the folding plates 8, and preventing positional deviation of the folding plates 8. |
