PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent battery exhaustion in a switching device of which a movable part is mounted with electrical components even when the device is operated by a battery and to appropriately detect the decline in battery residual quantity so as to increase safety of electrical components at the time of operation.SOLUTION: Electrical components such as obstacle sensors 11 and 12 and a radio transmitter 14, and a battery 13 for supplying electric power to the electrical components are mounted on a shutter curtain 2 which is a movable part. One non-contact charging part 15 which constitutes a non-contact charging system is mounted on the shutter curtain while the other non-contact charging part 85 is placed on the upper part of a lintel 9. When the shutter curtain 2 is in the stop state of opening or closing operation which is in a totally opened state, electric power is supplied in a non-contact manner from the non-contact charging part 85 to the non-contact charging part 15 so as to charge the battery 13. Thus battery exhaustion can be prevented and safety of electrical components can be increased at the time of operation. |
