PURPOSE: A high speed and efficiency numerical control (NC) index table is provided to perform an extremely precise high speed and efficiency rotation without backlash and slip phenomenon and a control operation thereof, thereby further improving the process precision and productivity. CONSTITUTION: A high speed and efficiency NC index table is configured to include a servo motor for driving rotation, a hypoid gear type rotation driving unit, a pad pressuring type auto-brake unit, and a high efficiency brake auto-release unit. The pad pressuring type auto-brake unit implements a brake control operation that releases pressure and pressures and contacts a brake pad while the brake piston is finely and vertically operated if stable fluid pressure and air pressure are input. The high efficiency brake auto-release unit ensures the maximum thrust of brake, and has resetting force required when the brake is released. |
