The invention resides in the hands-free body and back washer including in combination, a base member adapted to be affixed to a wall of a shower 5 cabinet or wash facility, with a replaceable washer element. The washer element is made of natural sponge or a dried gourd (e.g. loofa) or any medium with a stippled or textured surface and comprises of a set of interchangeable materials of different textures and configurations which can be selectively changed by the user. The washer element is removeably 10 attached to and supported by the base member, wherein in use, a user by, rubbing against the washer, can wash the users body and back with a hands free motion. In the alternative, the washer element can have the soap or cleansing lotion imbedded or impregnated in the washer element that is released on wetting. The base member is a base plate with removable fasteners such as suction cups for attachment to the wall of a shower or shower cabinet and can be more permanently affixed by using adhesive or adhesive strips with a pressure adhesive. In a permanent example, the base member can -be affixed 20 by using fasteners such as screws or a contact cement or silicone adhesive to the shower wall or shower cabinet. * .
