COATING METHOD AND COATING DEVICE FOR MEDICAL IMPLANTS Abstract The invention relates to methods for coating, at least regions of, a medical implant, preferably of an artificial joint or a fixation for a joint, in which a medical implant is provided; a liquid comprising at least one pharmaceutically active substance is filled into a device (1) comprising a compressed, at least over regions thereof, elastic, porous transfer means (4); the volume of the transfer means is increased, whereby the liquid is taken up at least partly into the pores of the transfer means; and subsequently the liquid is transferred from the transfer means to a medical implant surface to be coated. The invention also relates to a device for coating, at least regions of, a medical implant, wherein the device (1) comprises a compressed, elastic, porous transfer means (4). |
