PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery type fuel cell system capable of being efficiently charged.SOLUTION: The secondary battery type fuel cell system comprises: a fuel generation unit capable of discharging a fuel gas by chemical reaction and reproducible by the reverse reaction of the chemical reaction by which the fuel gas is generated; a power generation and electrolysis unit having a power generation function for generating power by using the fuel gas supplied from the fuel generation unit and an electrolysis function for electrolyzing the product of the reverse reaction supplied from the fuel generation unit at the time of regeneration by the fuel generation unit; a power detection unit for detecting the power supplied to the power generation and electrolysis unit at the time of regeneration by the fuel generation unit; a heater unit for heating a section of the power generation and electrolysis unit in which electrolysis is performed; and a control unit for controlling the power supplied to the heater unit on the basis of the result of detection by the power detection unit.
