摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer that permits determination of the most suitable ones of scattering photometers and of absorptiometers for a given concentration range and thereby enables detection sensitivity to be enhanced.SOLUTION: Standard solutions are measured multiple times by usual calibration, and calibration curves are prepared (step S1). The respective calibration curves of absorptiometers and scattering photometers are prepared using the Min and Max measured concentrations of the respective standard solutions (step S2). The upper and lower limits of the standard solutions are calculated using the calibration curves of the Min and Max (step S3). Calibration parameters are used to calculate sensitivities (signal quantities) (steps S3 and S4). Whether to use an absorption concentration or a scattering concentration is determined on the basis of the calculated sensitivities (step S5). Namely, the calculated sensitivities are compared to determine use of the absorption concentration or the scattering concentration which has higher sensitivity.
