PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hole and a peripheral part of the hole from being deformed, caused by being caught of the hole on a pin, when material molded and hardened is taken out of a metal mold, in a molding method of a hot pressed product which is created by heating the material having a positioning hole, engaging the hole of the heated material with the pin of the metal mold, positioning-and-installing, molding the material, and hardening the material.SOLUTION: The molding method of a hot pressed product includes: a positioning and installing step for positioning and installing material 7 in a metal mold 27, by engaging a positioning pin 33 provided in the metal mold 27 and a positioning hole 3 provided in the heated material 7, with each other; and a pressing and hole expanding step for press molding the material 7 using the metal mold 27, and for, when the press molding is performed, expanding the positioning hole 3 by bulging a peripheral part of the positioning hole 3 in the material 7. |
