PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white light emitting organic electroluminescent element with two or more luminous layers, low in drive voltage, high in white light emitting efficiency, and also excellent in reproducibility.SOLUTION: In the organic electroluminescent element including an anode, a cathode, and a luminous layer formed between the anode and the cathode, the luminous layer includes a layer formed by a wet deposition method and a layer formed by a vacuum deposition method, in order from the anode side. The layer formed by the wet deposition method is a layer containing a charge transport material and a phosphorescent material comprising a low molecular weight compound, and the layer formed by the vacuum deposition method is a layer containing a charge transport material and a fluorescent material comprising a low molecular weight compound. An emission spectrum of the organic electroluminescent element has maximum emission wavelengths in the regions of 440-500 nm, 510-550 nm and 580-630 nm. |
