The present invention relates to a flange fastening apparatus for drilling riser, which is capable of fastening flanges of pipes composing a drilling riser to be connected to each other. The flange fastening apparatus for drilling riser comprises: an engaging ring separably fitting on a first pipe among pipes and coupled to the first pipe to move along the longitudinal direction of the first pipe; rotating arms each having one end coupled to the engaging ring by a hinge and the other end pivoted around a hinge shaft, and provided along the circumferential direction of the engaging ring; fixing bolts detachably coupled to the other end of each of the rotating arms, respectively, to be integrated with the rotating arms and passing through the flanges according to the movement of the engaging ring or by the pivoting of the rotating arms; fastening nuts fastened to the fixing bolts to press and fixing the flanges; and a bolt fastener for preventing the fixing bolts from being separated from the flanges while suppressing the dehiscence of the fixing bolts or binding the fastening nuts and the fixing bolts. Thus, as the fixing bolts are coupled to the engaging ring through the rotating arms to be pivoted while moving together, the fixing bolts can be fitted to the flanges together, thereby shortening a fastening time. Particularly, the fixing bolts and the fastening nuts can be restricted by the bolt fastener, thereby maintaining the clamping force of the fixing bolts or the fastening nuts even if a repeated impact such as ocean currents is applied.
