Provided is apparatus for removing nitrogen oxides, which comprises an oxidation reactor oxidizing nitrogen oxides (NOx) into ozone (O3) to produce dinitrogen pentoxide (N2O5), and discharging dinitrogen pentoxide as exhaust gas; an ozone supplier supplying ozone to the oxidation reactor; and an exhaust gas treatment device supplying water to the exhaust gas discharged from the oxidation reactor to discharge dinitrogen pentoxide in the form of nitric acid (HNO3).
