PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a processed nonwoven fabric that has a simple structure, can be easily produced, reduces an emission amount of carbon dioxide, and can solve a problem that a sound absorbing material (sound absorbing product) formed by hardening a general-purpose emulsion resin composition has.SOLUTION: The method for producing the processed nonwoven fabric is a method for producing a processed nonwoven fabric 8A for a sound absorbing product by using a raw material nonwoven fabric 8 formed of a high-melting point short fiber that does not melt at a contact thermal-processing temperature and a low-melting point short fiber that melts at the contact thermal-processing temperature. The processed nonwoven fabric 8A having a porous film layer formed on a surface is formed by subjecting one face or both faces of the raw material nonwoven fabric 8 to contact thermal-processing treatment. |
