PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puzzle game and a method for playing the puzzle game.SOLUTION: The puzzle game includes a plurality of puzzle pieces of sizes and shapes to be combined. A puzzle piece can include one or more symbols. A symbol is present on some puzzle pieces. The puzzle pieces can be combined one after another. A point can be obtained by making symbols coincident between adjacent puzzle pieces. The method for playing the puzzle game includes the steps for distributing the plurality of puzzle pieces among players, and allowing a player to submit a piece by matching a certain piece with another piece. The player can acquire a point by submitting a piece with a symbol coincident with a symbol on a certain piece adjacent to the certain piece.
