摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple and correct evaluation method for a [evolution potential] to parent protein (nucleic acid) as starting material for obtaining protein or nucleic acid (specific recognition probe) having specific bonding activity to target molecules and a produced mutant gene library, and a highly sensitive and comprehensive monitoring method for an affinity selection step.SOLUTION: For each of libraries produced from parent protein (or nucleic acid) and a random mutant, a [molecular bond profile] with respect to a target ligand array containing a target molecule is created, and the [molecular bond profiles] of both of them are compared and analyzed, thereby a [evolution potential] indicating whether a random mutant library of concern is a population capable of creating the mutant having the target molecular bondability or not can be evaluated. Further, when a selection cycle using beads or the like with the target molecules immobilized thereon is applied to the obtained [random mutant library], and the [molecular bond profile] is created for each cycle and subjected to comparison and analysis, the determination of the timing of completion of the selection step can be ensured. In this way, the objective specific recognition probe can be efficiently created.
