PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump hot water supply apparatus capable of surely detecting leak of a combustible refrigerant even during power supply shut-off to a heat pump type heat source machine while a hot water supply and heating operation is stopped, and to provide a heat pump hot water supply apparatus capable of reducing standby power consumption while keeping an operation state of a gas sensor.SOLUTION: A heat pump hot water supply apparatus 1 includes a heat pump type heat source machine 3 which uses a combustible refrigerant and which has a compressor 20, a fan 19 for an evaporator and a gas sensor 37 for sensing leak of the combustible refrigerant in a case 25. In a state where a hot water supply and heating operation is stopped, power supply to the heat pump type heat source machine 3 is shut off. The heat pump hot water supply apparatus 1 includes control means 24 which diffuses the leaked combustible refrigerant by driving the fan 19 for an evaporator when leak of the combustible refrigerant is detected by the gas sensor 37, and it is configured in such a manner that, during the power supply shut-off, electric power can be supplied to the control means 24 and the gas sensor 37 from a capacitor 48 of a power supply circuit 42 which drives the compressor 20. |
