PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long-life scribing wheel, a scribing device, and a method of manufacturing a scribing wheel in which wear resistance of the cutting edge of a scribing wheel is increased when dividing a hard brittle material substrate.SOLUTION: Plated coating 43 and hard particles 44 are applied to the surface of a blade 42 of a scribing wheel. Since the hard particles 44 are protruded from the plated coating 43 applied to the surface of the blade 42, the plated coating 43 does not contact the brittle material substrate when forming scribe lines, so that the blade 42 is difficult to be worn. Further, even if any hard particle 44 is omitted, other hard particles 44 will not be omitted, which leads to a scribing wheel having high wear resistance of the blade 42 and a long life. |
