PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes treatment apparatus that has a structure capable of efficiently feeding steam to clothes.SOLUTION: The clothes treatment apparatus includes a housing tub for housing clothes and a steam feeding mechanism for feeding steam to the housing tub. The steam feeding mechanism includes: a steam generator 420 that has a wall surface defining a chamber for generating steam; a heater 425 for heating the wall surface; and a water feeding mechanism for discharging water to the wall surface heated by the heater 425. The wall surface of the chamber has been subjected to a hydrophilic treatment. Since the water heated by the heater 425 and hits the wall surface spreads along the wall surface with the hydrophilic treatment and instantaneously vaporized, it is discharged with a high pressure. |
