Provided are a biological sample transfer device and biological sample transfer method less likely to adversely affect a biological sample transferred from a biological sample collection vessel to a biological sample storage vessel. The biological sample transfer device (1) is provided with: a biological sample collection vessel (2) in which a biological sample is collected; a biological sample storage vessel (3) composed of a flexible member, the biological sample storage vessel (3) having a biological sample accommodation chamber (311) formed by three-dimensional molding; a connecting tube (4) that connects the biological sample collection vessel (2) and the biological sample storage vessel (3) in an aseptic and air-tight manner; a port section (5) which is provided to the connecting tube (4) and by which a gas in the interior of the connecting tube (4) can be guided to the exterior while maintaining the air-tight state of the biological sample collection vessel (2), the biological sample storage vessel (3), and the connecting tube (4); and an upstream closure (6) provided closer to the biological sample collection vessel (2) side than the port section (5). |
