PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with various media without impairing maintainability.SOLUTION: A medium storage unit 27 that can house two small storage cassettes 29S side by side and has a plurality of slots 28 into which two small storage cassettes 29S can be detachably loaded is provided in a bill depositing/withdrawing machine 4. Consequently, the two small storage cassettes 29S can be loaded into a space equivalent to one conventional bill storage cassette, and out of the two small storage cassettes 29S, a small storage cassette 29S that needs maintenance can be detached to perform maintenance. Thus, a medium processor can cope with various media without impairing maintainability. |
